Fire and Ice

Fire and Ice

Some say the world will end in fire,

Some say in ice.

From what I’ve tasted of desire

I hold with those who favor fire.

But if it had to perish twice,

I think I know enough of hate

To say that for destruction ice

Is also great

And would suffice

I chose the poem Fire and Ice by Robert Frost because it relates to the 2012 apocalypse.  I thought that it was ironic that Robert Frost was thinking that the world was going to end the same way that we think its going to end and its been decades since his poem was written. I like this poem because it is saying that either way the world will be ending whether you like it or not.
